What you’ll need

Basics

  • Hydrating primer, full-coverage foundation 1–2 shades lighter than skin

  • Translucent setting powder (matte)

  • Cool-tone contour (taupe/ash), matte gray or plum eyeshadow

  • Black eyeliner (pencil + liquid), black mascara

  • Deep red or black matte lipstick + clear gloss (optional)

  • Fake blood (thick gel + drip), vampire fangs

  • Setting spray

Optional FX

  • Red/burgundy eyeshadow or cream pigment

  • White cream paint (for extra-pale finish)

  • Adhesive + sculpt gel or wax (for bite marks)

  • Thin detailing brush / fine liner brush

  • Cosmetic contact lenses (use only if you have experience; see safety notes)

Step-by-step

  1. Prep & Pale Base (3 min)
Moisturize, prime. Apply lighter foundation evenly (jawline, ears, neck). For “undead” pallor, mix a pea of white cream paint into the foundation for the high points only. Set with translucent powder.

  2. Hollow the Face (2 min)
With taupe/ash contour, shade under cheekbones, temples, and sides of nose. Add a whisper of gray/plum shadow in the hollows for a sunken look. Blend edges clean—no bronzer warmth.

  3. Bleed-less Brows (1 min)
Keep brows structured but slightly darker and straighter. Fill with cool-tone pencil/powder; avoid warm browns.

  4. Smoky, Hungry Eyes (6 min)

    • Wash matte gray/plum over the lid and under the lower lash line.

    • Deepen outer corners with matte black; blend into a soft wing.

    • Tightline upper waterline with black pencil; smudge along lower lashes.

    • Optional: Tap red/burgundy at inner/outer lid for “bloodshot” depth.

    • Mascara top and bottom; add small lashes if desired.

  5. Veins (Optional but cinematic, 2 min)
With a fine brush and diluted plum/gray, paint soft, branching lines from under the eyes toward the temples. Soften with fingertip—think translucent capillaries, not harsh lines.

  6. Bite Marks (Optional, 3 min)
Press two tiny dots of wax/gel on the neck. Pin-prick centers with a spatula/toothpick. Stipple dark red inside, deepen centers with black, then add glossy fake blood to “bleed.”

  7. Lips (2 min)
Blur a deep red/black lipstick in the center, fade outward for a bitten effect. For a classic villain, sharpen with a crisp cupid’s bow. Add a tiny drip of blood at one corner for drama.

  8. Fangs & Finish (1 min)
Fit fangs per instructions. Mist setting spray. If using lenses, insert before eye makeup and remove before cleansing.
